Education

Programs for Young Children
The Good Shepherd Catechesis levels I (ages 3–6) and II (ages 7–9) offer children unhurried time in specially-prepared spaces to learn about and come closer to God. The children learn through basic Montessori principles, under the guidance and support of trained teachers. For more information on the program, visit the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Association of Canada.

Programs for Older Children and Youth
Older children have been working with the re:form curriculum (slogan: "it's like God-caffeine for youth ministry"). The program's videos and accompanying "anti-workbooks" have been very well received by the participants. For more on re:form, go here.

Programs for Adults
The congregation has just completed a series of sermons, “God, Money, and the World,” which culminated in a Saturday workshop. The series focused on building an ethical economy, with an emphasis on how to live more simply and ecologically. There will be further workshops on this overall topic later in the year.

House Groups
Ascension House Groups meet for reading, reflection, and discussion. The Monday group is now reading Saving Jesus from the Church.
