From chestnuts to Charlie Brown, The John Dapaah Trio brings a spirit of joyous jazz and gospel to a repertoire of Christmastime tunes.

The performers are Roxanne Goodman and Michael Curtis Hanna on vocals, J.P. Lapenseé on bass, Jamie Holmes on drums, and John Dapaah on piano. The setlist is (tentatively):

John Kofi Dapaah is a pianist crossing the boundaries of the classical and jazz world. He has performed in recitals and concerts in Japan, Austria, and throughout Canada: the Ottawa International Chamberfest, Arts Series, Jugend am Klavier and L’Oasis Musicale, to name a few.
Music has taken John on a voyage through many parts of the world. It has brought him to reflect on a range of styles including classical, jazz and gospel piano.
John runs an active studio in Ottawa and concertizes throughout Canada. His debut solo album “Reflections”, was released in February 2018 with works by Schubert, Schumann, Chopin and Bach/Petri.

February 23 at 7pm: Garry Elliott & Rachel Beausoleil (Brazilian music for voice, guitar, and percussion)
April 6 at 7pmThomas Annand & Laura Nerenberg (Early masterworks for harpsichord and baroque violin)
