Youth Picnic and Film Night, June 15
Our last youth event of the season is going to be Friday, June 15. We will be meeting at Springhurst park near Lees at 7:30 for a picnic followed by the Main Event Movie night presentation of Wonder at dusk. Please email Gabrielle by June 10 if you are interested in joining us, so that there will be enough food for everyone.

Diocesan Junior Youth Festival
We’ll hear from aboriginal storytellers. We’ll see and learn about birds of prey. We’ll soar on trampolines and zip lines. And we’ll witness some of the most exciting aboriginal talent in the Pow Wow and competitions.The highlight of our visit will be watching the Grand Entry for the Pow Wow! Bring money for lunch and to spend at the market.Meet us at the Information Tent in the east corner of the park for 10am. Pickup will be in the same location at 3pm.

Church Picnic, June 24
Ascension’s Annual potluck BBQ will be in the churchyard, after the service. Willing hands are needed to help with provisions, set-up, clean-up, etc. To participate, contact Gabrielle Wilson.

Wilderness Canoe Trip for Youth Ages 13–18
This wilderness canoe trip is for youth aged 13-18; no canoe experience necessary. We launch Monday, July 23 in Eastern Algonquin Park and return Friday, July 29. Team leaders  are experienced, screened and trained in first aid. We had a great time last year!!! Camp sponsor St Mary’s, Anglican, Navan.
